Lady Pirates Fall 2010 golf schedule
HAMPTON, Va. – The Hampton University men's and women's golf teams, under the direction of head coach
Reggie Mitchell, released their fall 2010 schedules on Monday, two slates totaling eight tournaments.
The Pirates and Lady Pirates will open the fall on Sept. 12-14, with the Pirates heading to Farmville, Va. for the Manor Invitational and the Lady Pirates teeing it up at the Towson Invitational in Phoenix, Md. The Lady Pirates will then compete in the Sea Trail Invitational hosted by Elon University at Sunset Beach, N.C. on Sept. 23-27, while the Pirates will be in Atlanta, Ga. on Sept. 24-26 for the Coca-Cola National Black College Hall of Fame Invitational.
The Pirates did not compete in last year's Coca-Cola National because of inclement weather.
The Pirates will be in Williamsburg, Va. for the Agee Invitational on Oct. 8-10, before the Lady Pirates head to Williamsburg on Oct. 15-17 for the William & Mary Invitational.
Both teams will close out the fall slate at the Savannah State Fall Invitational in Savannah, Ga. on Nov. 5-7. The Pirates finished seventh in last year's Savannah State Fall Invitational, while the Lady Pirates won the team title.
Kayla Williams (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) fired an 8-over 150 over two rounds to finish second.
