Women's 400-meter dash final results
DES MOINES, Iowa – Hampton University senior
Francena McCorory finished second in the finals of the 400-meter dash on Saturday at the 2010 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at Drake Stadium on the campus of Drake University.
McCorory (Hampton, Va.), a three-time NCAA champion in the 400-meter dash, ran a 50.52 in the finals to edge out Natasha Hastings, who ran a 50.53, for second. Debbie Dunn won the event with a 49.64, setting a personal best and posting the fastest time in the world.
McCorory's time was a personal best in the outdoor 400-meter dash.
