HAMPTON, Va. – The Hampton University softball team has cancelled its doubleheader against Norfolk State, which was scheduled for 1 p.m. at Lady Pirates Field.

The Lady Pirates (18-33, 6-3 MEAC) will return to action on Saturday, when they take on Delaware State in a doubleheader. First pitch will be at 1 p.m., and Saturday will be Take a Kid to the Game Day. Kids in attendance can purchase a hot dog for 75 cents and can have their picture taken with the Pirate mascot.

In between games, kids in attendance can see if they can outrun the Pirate around the bases.
