HAMPTON, Va. – Hampton University senior defensive end Charles Young, an undrafted free agent, has been invited to attend the Cleveland Browns' mini-camp.

The camp begins on Friday.

Young (District Heights, Md.) was seventh on the team in tackles last season with 45, and he had a career-high nine tackles on three separate occasions: against Delaware State (two solo, seven assisted), against Howard (three solo, six assisted) and at Winston-Salem State (three solo, six assisted).

He also had 5.5 sacks on the season, ranking second on the team and third in the MEAC, and he was third on the team with 10.0 tackles for loss.

Young also forced a fumble at North Carolina A&T.
