Played in 30 games for the Pirates, making 25 starts… averaged 3.3 points and led the team with 5.3 rebounds per game… scored a season-high eight points against Norfolk State on Jan. 31… set a new career high with 14 rebounds at Florida A&M on Jan. 12, 11 of which were on the defensive end… also pulled in 12 rebounds against Yale and 10 at South Carolina State on Feb. 14… also had seven points at South Carolina State… matched his career high of three assists at Virginia Commonwealth… had four blocks at Winston-Salem State on Feb. 16 and another three at Florida A&M… averaged 0.6 blocks per game… had a season-high two steals at Howard on March 5… averaged 22.4 minutes a game.
2007-08 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in 30 games for the Pirates, starting 24 of them… averaged 4.1 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest… scored a career-high 15 points at Maryland-Baltimore County on Dec. 22… scored in double figures twice, also pouring in 11 against Maryland-Eastern Shore on Feb. 11… recorded double-digit rebounds five times, matching his career high with 13 at Coppin State on Feb. 23… also had a career-high three steals in that game… shot .412 from the floor, converting 42 of 102 field goal attempts.
2006-07 FRESHMAN SEASON
Appeared in 31 games for the Pirates, starting 27… averaged 2.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game… shot .410 from the field, converting 25 of 61 field goal attempts… second on the team with 17 blocked shots… ended the regular season with eight points and a season-high 13 rebounds against Maryland-Eastern Shore… also went to the free throw line 10 times in that contest… pulled down 10 rebounds against Florida A&M… 46 of his 131 rebounds were offensive… handed out a season-best three assists at St. Bonaventure and against Delaware State… had a season-high five blocks against George Mason.
BLOOMINGDALE HIGH SCHOOL
An all-state honorable mention selection and an all-county performer as a senior, averaging 18 points and 10 rebounds per game… is the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,239 points.
