First Team All-MEAC… named to the 2008 SBN Sports Black College All-American Team… was the starting punter for the Pirates in all 11 games… punted 58 times for 2,498 yards… led the MEAC with a punting average of 43.1 yards for the second straight year… recorded 10 touchbacks and forced two fair catches… placed 21 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line… had 12 punts of 50 yards or longer… established a new career high with 340 punting yards in a win over North Carolina A&T… punted seven times for 289 yards in a loss at South Carolina State… punted nine times for 278 yards in a loss to Winston-Salem State… booted a career-high 79-yard punt in a win over Howard.
2007 SOPHOMORE SEASON
First Team All-MEAC… was the starting punter for the Pirates in all 11 games… punted 58 times for 2,499 yards… finished first in the MEAC with a punting average of 43.1 yards… placed seventh in the NCAA in punting average… placed 15 punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line, including a career-high four in a win over Bethune-Cookman… established a career-high in punting yards with 307 in a loss to Delaware State… had a career-high eight punts in an overtime win over Morgan State… booted a season-long 69-yard punt in a win at Howard.
2006 FRESHMAN SEASON
Second Team All-MEAC… was the starting punter for the Pirates in all 12 games… punted 41 times for 1,628 yards… finished second in the league with a punting average of 39.7 yards, helping Hampton lead the conference with a net punting average of 34.8 yards… placed 12 punts inside the opposition’s 20-yard line… had six punts that went 50 or more yards, including a 71-yard boot on homecoming against Winston-Salem State… averaged a season-best 48.3 yards on three punts in the Circle City Classic versus Central State, behind a 57-yard effort.
