Four-year basketball star at Grafton High… averaged 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals as a freshman… averaged 14 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals as a sophomore, earning the Most Outstanding Player Award at the Denbigh High School Holiday Classic… named Second Team All-Bay Rivers District and Grafton’s MVP as a junior after averaging 16.4 points, six rebounds and four assists… Bay Rivers District, Region I and Daily Press Player of the Year as a senior, averaging 21 points, 12 rebounds and four assists, leading Grafton to its first Group AA state tournament berth.
