2008 OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD SEASON
Ran a 22.40 in the 200-meter dash at the Murray Neely Invitational to finish 19th… finished third in the triple jump at the Murray Neely with a distance of 14.45m… finished sixth in the 200-meter dash (22.16), 14th in the long jump (6.40m) and second in the triple jump (14.90m) at the Morgan State Legacy Meet.
2007-08 INDOOR TRACK & FIELD SEASON
Came in second in the triple jump at the Maryland-Eastern Shore Coach O College Invitational with a distance of 14.10m… also finished fourth in the 400-meter dash, running a 51.61… tied for 12th in the long jump (6.33m) and finished fourth in the triple jump (14.46m) at the George Mason Father Diamond Invitational.

A First-Team selection in track & field as a sophomore… named co-team captain at Salem in his junior and senior seasons.

Born July 19, 1987… son of Carmen and Kent Smith… has a brother, Stephen (23), and a sister, Keneisha (20)… brother Stephen is a 2008 graduate of Hampton University… featured in The Virginian-Pilot… majoring in computer engineering with a minor in computer science… wants to found a computer repair and diagnostics company… also has plans of competing in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
