HAMPTON, Va. – The Hampton University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision on Saturday to visiting College of Charleston at Neilson-Screen Stadium.
The guests took the doubles point sweeping the three matches. Hampton's
Juan Araoz and
Matthew Foster-Estwick took Rodrigo Encinas and Juan Estevarena to a tie-breaker falling 7-6 (7-5) at line #1.
In singles, College of Charleston took the singles matches in straight sets.
Peter Odegbami took Encinas to a second-set tie-breaker but fell 6-2, 7-6 (7-2).
Hampton (4-8) returns to action on Monday at 1 pm hosting Norfolk State in the final regular season match.
