Box Score FORT WORTH, Tx. – Monnazjea Finney-Smith scored 20 points and Jephany Brown added 15 as Hampton fell 90-68 at Texas Christian on Wednesday night.

Hampton (2-7) cut the lead in the first quarter to three as late as with 2:24 left on a jumper from Brown to trail 17-14.  The Horned Frogs closed the quarter on an 11-3 run to lead 28-17 on a free throw by Lauren Heard.

In the second, Hampton closed with an 11-4 flurry to trim a 19 point deficit to 50-38 on a triple be Dejane' James to beat the halftime horn.

The Lady Pirates were 22-of-52 from the field (42.3%) and 9-of-18 from 3-point land (50%) to go with 15-of-23 from the foul line (65.2%).  James shared rebounding honors with Mikayla Sayle with four each. 

Hampton is now back in action on December 28 in Chattanooga, Tenn. to face the Chattanooga Mocs at 2 pm in a contest that will be shown on ESPN3 online.
